Mahhi Vij Early Life and Education
Mahhi Vij was born on 1 April 1982 in New Delhi into a Punjabi family. She completed her schooling at Lilawati Vidya Mandir School in Delhi and later graduated from the University of Delhi.
Mahhi entered modelling when she was just 17 years old. She walked the ramp at fashion shows and appeared in print advertisements before making her way into television and films.
Her initial years in Mumbai were not easy. While trying to establish herself in the entertainment industry, she reportedly faced financial difficulties and even worked as a kindergarten teacher before finding success as an actress.

Before becoming a prominent television actress, Mahhi Vij appeared in music videos and regional films. One of her early popular appearances came in the 2002 remix “Tu, Tu Hai Wahi (DJ Aqeel Mix)”. She later featured in music videos including Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s “Roz Roz” in 2008 and Anuradha Paudwal’s “Rimjhim-Rimjhim Saawan Barse” in 2012.
